The gf's sister was going on about this Japanese rape game her colleagues were going on about apparently (and sorry if this is year old or something - I search the forums and couldn't find anything) its called RapeLay Wikipedia Apparently "The game centers on a male character who stalks and rapes a mother and her two daughters" It has unlockables "After completing the storyline and "breaking" the girls, there are six modes of gameplay." such as "Five player or "5P" mode, where the player is restricted to one sex position, with three other males raping one girl during group sex. The level restrictions for this mode include locations with small space."

It's news to non-gamers, but anyone remotely into the Japanese gaming scene has known for years that Japan makes ero-games of every fetish imaginable.

Yeah, that's pretty f'd up. Never heard of it before. I skipped the youtube video, you're presentation says enough. It's such outliers like this that cause regulators to step in and take over the situation, when the "industry" demonstrates it's unable to police itself. There's always the element of pushing the boundries, and then along comes some knucklefuck who takes it so far over the line... you end up with regulations like Germany, where all the enemies have to be robots so we don't expose our kids to such violence.
Yeah, but there are only two endings: either you get run over by a train or stabbed to death by a victim. The rapist gets what's coming to him eventually.
The Biko games were around long before this, and had the same subject matter, but I suppose when you put the word 'rape' in the title you'll have issues.

You want more details about that? Allow me to explain. The game Rapelay was released in Japan in 2006 for PC and unnoticed like any other hentai game. For some reason the game was noticed in 2008. Illusion company makes interactive DVD versions about their games for any DVD player and are called DVD PG. At that time, the DVD PG version of Rapelay was (or was about to be) released, which i suppose was the reason it brang attention again. It's not the first time a tematic like that exists, in similar terms are the Biko series where you stalk and either rape or have a relationship with a character, so as the Interact Play series where you molest characters into a train (in fact i think that game should had been called Interact Play 3).
I used to "play" the Illusion games, i was fascinated with the 3D anime like models Illusion games have and were uncommon in other 3D games. More or less before Rapelay i stopped in order to move to other things. I downloaded a copy of the game so as the bonus disc when the PC version was released, but so far i haven't even installed it anywhere. For some reason and virtual or not, i can't stand bukkake and it was being more predominant into their games. It's been almost 5 years since the last time i played a hentai game.
If you want youngsters to avoid playing a game only released in Japan you simply don't talk about it, yet the media did quite the contrary and unchained a series of events. Like government regulations in Japan, worldwide IP block for certain Japanese sites and deletion of any trace about the game from the company site itself.
BTW, the video you posted is from a game called "3D Custom Girl", which basically is a Poser 3D software with templates and made by a different company.

What I heard was that the game somehow accidentally got listed in the English-language Amazon.com, and a British (or was it Irish?) anti-pornography organization noticed it and raised a holy stink.

Yeah i know the same version too, Amazon.com had something to do with this. My guess is the DVD PG version was the one who got listed (it was/were to be released around the months when the scandal began) and it eventually lead to the PC version released two years before.
