Update for 0.190 version, this is the web page for download: progetto-SNAPS MESSINFO.DAT.
Clean version with no additional files, can be found here: progetto-SNAPS Naked MESSINFO.DAT.
For MAME users: put the file "messinfo.dat" in a folder called " \history". This is in how information is displayed with MAME: 
For MAMEUI/MESSUI users: put the file "messinfo.dat" in a folder called " \dats". This is how information is displayed with MESSUI: 
Whatsnew:
* 10.40 01/10/2017: Aligned files to 0.190 version.
* 10.39 23/09/2017: Completed work on formatting correction, deletion of rom data and finding the version of adding all devices. The file is finally complete!
* 10.38 06/09/2017: Fixed some new "DRIVER STATUS".

I'm confused. Why is this still a thing? MESS was merged with MAME several versions ago now.
Does this work properly with current MAME? How about with MAMEUI? If merged with MAMEinfo, would the number or format of entries cause issues?
