System 16 updated on September 24 new

Didn't see anyone mention this:

Completely redid the Sega Space Harrier Hardware page and brought it up to the new standard, replacing every image with the best ones I could find (which wasn't easy at times and required some substantial image manipulation at others), thanks to Martin Lawes for getting me a decent picture of a hang on control panel and Hannes Slanec for linking to a picture of a Super Hang On conversion.

Good update. That's probably one page section I rarely looked at compared to other sections.

off topic: As for recent updates, MASH's Arcade at the Movies Movies of the 70's section....the Juggernaut entry mystery company name resolved after all these years.

More Pong (Alca Electronics Ping Pong...another Pong clone) are in the movie Juggernaut.

I had probably watched that movie 4 or 5 times over past 5 years and saying to myself when watching that same scene being played: "That company name is going to be identified one of these years".

Ah, nice, I see your/MASH's update

Alca Electronics was a British company, so was "Juggernaut". You probably would have put two and two together long ago, but the mostly-complete gamelist, or rather, bootleg-list , for Alca Electronics didn't start coming together until the other year.

Yep. That movie scene was taunting/daring me to find the company manufacturer.

I knew it had to be a European region made product, but was first guessing maybe Subelectro or maybe Electrocoin since I was somewhat familiar with those name because flyers were already on TAFA and Flyer Fever. Orclord (UK resident) might have known the manufacturer name himself if he were asked when he use to visit here years earlier.

Came in handy. If only Alca printed flyers....I am guessing the company didn't have flyers printed of their games/products back in the days.

No idea. Most of their game list was scavenged from http://www.ukvac.com/ or http://jammaplus.co.uk/ I believe, at any rate.

Here's a few flyers tho:

http://www.45worlds.com/game/item/flying-circus
https://www.arcade-history.com/?n=the-striker&page=detail&id=98582
https://www.arcade-history.com/?n=sky-gunner&page=detail&id=36775
https://www.arcade-history.com/?n=lucky-10&page=detail&id=98581

All electromechanical.

Sega apparently sued them in 1982 over their Frogger bootleg (and probably others). It seems they filed for bankruptcy soon after.

Okay. Then good chance some flyers were also printed for some of their videogame products as well. Dan will likely find an Alca videogame flyer later even though it will take some time.
