What's nice about the app is that you don't have to have the CPU pegged 100% if you don't want to. There's a slider which can set the percentage to whatever is preferred.

A 50% load for example won't generate all that much heat. But if the ambient temp of the room is already very warm due to summer weather, then just scale it back to use 25% or whatnot. Every little bit helps in the long run.
