If I take the binary blob that I extracted from the BIOS (attached in an earlier post) and add a BMP extension, I'm able to open it in my paint program (Paint Shop Pro 8 ). However, if I re-save it with a new name without making any changes and do a diff between the two files, they are very different. So, however it's stored, PSP8 is smart enough to decode it.
