Who knows, maybe the whole thing ~was~ a conspiracy. Maybe Obama was brought into a room, told the truth, and left with a HUGE decision. This wraps it up nicely, and right in time to kick off the next election cycle.
When you think of the alternative, being the guy to tell the nation "Ummm...yeah, about that whole 9/11 thing"...well, I wouldn't want to be that guy. Government might as well shut down after that.
