As I said, it is only acceptable if he's there. I didn't say he wasn't. I still don't think the President should be doing that, but others have as well. I don't much like Trump, either; he's more liberal than John, Son of Cain. His political contributions prior to his recent decision to be a Republican were hugely biased toward Democrats. Maybe someone who has repeatedly bankrupted himself and climbed back up would be able to do something about our fiscal policies, but... I doubt he'd do any good.
Shots at BarryO? How about his statement when finally producing a document that he was supposed to have made available prior to being elected that "we don't have time for this silliness?" The time spent on it was all his doing, and it was at least "silly" on both sides.
