Actually, to be honest, the PCSX2 and Dolphin teams have made incredible progress with the emulation of their respective target consoles (previous generation) and you can run them full speed with currently available technology. They also have a large community. I fear the interest for arcades is what has waned as we have grown older and the industry is all but dead in the US.
