Ah.thanks, stiletto. I didn't browse this site too carefully.just signed up and posted.understand all the kerfuffle now! Thought upto now that the roms were being altered.if I need to add files, then I rescind my original request and apologise once again to you all.dabbled with mame a very long time ago, and these are still the same few roms that I am trying to recycle.looks like I shall have to start from scratch!! Thanks for being patient.
