Meh, it's not conspiracy really, it's just business as usual. America wouldn't get involved if they didn't have anything to gain from it. This is basic strategy and it's not limited to America's troops.
Throughout history the largest armies only become larger when they conquer more lands. Leaders deploy their troops to secure the leader's interests. Business as usual.
Is it sad that these children are being forced into war? Of course it is, but IMO not any more sad than American troops (often not much older than these "invisible children") being sent to fight and die in a wild goose chase.
I mean no offense at all to any veterans or current soldiers here. I want all of them safe and home with their families.
