Need Help with Mame 64, Win7 64, and Act Labs Guns
04/26/12 06:26 PM

Hi everyone,
If anyone can help me with this, I will be forever grateful. I'm on the last step to getting my Mame Machine EXACTLY how I want it. I have a Windows 7 64bit Mame Machine, running Hyperspin, a usb coin door I built, The dual X-arcade joystick, and now, 2 ACT LAB guns that attach via S-Video to my 27" monitor. The thing is, I can't get mame to recognize them. On the Windows Desktop, they work great, I can point and shot and hit icons, close windows, open apps, etc. but in mame, nothing. I've tried running in and out of Hyperspin, with the latest builds of mame32, mame64, mameui32, and mameui64 and no luck. I go to the configuration screen, attempt to set the trigger as button 1, but never responds. I even changed the ini file to

#
# CORE INPUT OPTIONS
#
mouse 1
joystick 1
lightgun 0
multimouse 1
offscreen_reload 1

#
# CORE INPUT AUTOMATIC ENABLE OPTIONS
#
lightgun_device lightgun

#
# INPUT DEVICE OPTIONS
#
dual_lightgun 0

as I found on this site, http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=105769.0 but no luck. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thank you all so much!
~John
