My daughter will be getting a car as a gift for her graduation (maybe - if I can afford one). I have been scanning the local haunts like newspapers and the like. I also have been looking at keepitlocal.com. A lot of the 'college cars' price range have vehicles in the 100000 miles range.
I am from the old school way of thinking where if a car had 100000 miles, it was a guarenteed that it needed something and was not very reliable. That is really not true anymore.
So my real question is: What makes a good college car these days?
