I don't like the sound of that one bit. I would copy off all relevant data and do a low level destructive/diagnostic using WD's tools, and if you still don't see errors and the problem hasn't gone away, complain to WD anyway and see if you can get a new one under warranty (which should be for at least 1 year) If it gives any errors, then of course get a new one via warranty.
