The NES version of DDragon, on a 1.79 MHz 8-bit CPU, runs rings around the allegedly 16-bit arcade, and MAME accurately demonstrates its shittiness if your PC is fast enough. ETA: a reprogrammed bootleg which performs better (but still has some slowdown) was common in South America and some other locations. Haze has documented this on many occasions.
