Currently, Calamity's drivers do not work on Windows 7. At one point, there was discussion on BYOAC that a set of Windows 7 compatible drivers was in the works, but nothing has ever appeared.
I can't see there being any appreciable difference in MAME performance between Windows XP 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
