You think that's bad, I just bought a new SSD, a used CPU+motherboard, and a new video card.

All of them got cheaper through sales via different stores a day after I bought them.

As for your HDD issues, it might be a bad SATA port. My old PC had a bad port that kept causing Windows to crash.
