Yes, at last, you can compile your own build whenever you want.

Up to 0.183, a release package is provided, however there's no guarantee that it will compile.
To compile:
HBMAME is NOT aligned to MAME releases, it is issued whenever it's ready. It will be aligned to MAME latest git instead.
You must pull to the tag, from the hbmame repository above.
>git checkout tag183 (for example)
I use gcc 5.3.0, although it should work with any supported compiler of MAME.
You can request games to be added, but you have to supply any required roms.
