What a whiney narc bitch. Did he write any of the games that are on the Internet Archive? Does he have any claim whatsoever to anything that's supposedly infringing? No? Then he should shut the fuck up and let the people who actually hold the rights do their due legal diligence.
The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of companies that made games in the 70's and 80's don't exist anymore and exist in such a tar pit of legal rights-holders that tracking down the actual holder of the copyright would be harder than just asking the question of distribution. Quite simply, the Internet Archive respects all legal requests to take down content, and in fact has done so for the games hosted for JSMAME and JSMESS. The fact that this guy is snivelling over "mah rights" for games he had nothing to do with just outs him as the whiney, teacher's-pet, bitch-ass, narc motherfucker that he is. Just stirring up shit to try to get clicks and get a leg up in the shitty media organization that he's part of. As far as I'm concerned, if he isn't involved in any of the games that are being offered on the Internet Archive, he should shut right the fuck up and go back to fingering kids or whatever the fuck it is that dumbass Internet pundits do when they're not writing shitty articles.
