I dont understand you at all....
It took Jezze 4 months of coding to make the vector stuff look way more awesome then before...
Due to the nature, how vector-games are influenced by some parameters of HLSL, there will be no setting, that can work globally... this was true for the past and it is still true right now. You need to play with them a little more.
these are the settings that effect vector games NOW:
note: please use the bloom_levels from this example, as they are more meaningful for vector games, especially if you like glowing lines . Also use the shadowmask_alpha only for colored vector games. Set the alpha to zero for B/W games.
Code:

Your picture of Armor Attack shows, that the lines are to big. As Jezze removed the beamwidth parameter and replaced it with beam_min, beam_max and beam_intensity_weight, you need to find a good approximation by playing with them. There are several more ways ( beside the mentioned ones), how to make the lines thin again:
power (or RGB gamma in the slider menue), if you raise these values, the lines will become thinner.
vector_length_scale (or Vector Length Attenuation in the slider menue), if you raise these values, the lines will become thinner.
