This is just a minor fix, but one that was bugging me. In Atari Subs, when a sub is hit, the screen flashes reversed (white background instead of black) and jagged edges appear around the overlay. At first I thought it was part of the game but then played it without the overlay and it disappeared. The problem was that some areas of the overlay that appear empty are not quite 100% transparent. The screenshots below are before the fix (left) and after (right).
