Took a quick look.
As of AntoPisa's MAME 0.171 MESS artwork files...
Compared to the 177 artwork files on mess.org/artwork as of MAME 0.172:
- AntoPisa's missing 11 files (eight new as of MAME 0.172, three not new as of MAME 0.172)
- of the remaining 166 files, 74 are exactly the same as on mess.org/artwork
- what remains is therefore 92 files.
- 22 of these are the chess games whose artwork I tweaked for MESS 0.165-0.171 compatibility (they otherwise wouldn't work in a clickable fashion)
- 3 more of these are artworks that got updated between 0.171 and 0.172.
This leaves 67 that I'm not really sure why are different.
