I have just downloaded a complete fresh copy of 0.172 and HLSL shuts down the emulator entirely. How new do these files have to be? I just downloaded them from the official site. I consider my hardware to be fairly new and overkill for this program. I don't think it's that. I am pretty sure its not my GTX970 causing this.
