There's some speculation that this thing is basically a Wii Mini without a disk drive.
I think this is an okay idea, but I do not like the fact that it only has 30 games and you can't buy more. It would be great if you could buy this and use whatever NES Virtual Console games you already own on it, or if you could buy more game packs. But this is Nintendo, though. So of course it's crippled.
... come to think of it, I wonder if this is also part of a plan to get Famiclones out of the market?
