But games like Lemmings and Prince of Persia ended up looking better on colour Macs than Amiga just by throwing memory bandwidth at the problem. The Amiga video architecture might have been a good idea with an 8MHz 68000, but it ended up being a burden on later CPU generations, and they botched the memory implementation for '030 and '040 Amigas so the performance really sucked.
