After reading about safflower oil in CALORIES DON'T COUNT ('61)*, I used it for a while, but then the stores I went to stopped carrying it, so haven't in a while. The last several years I've been using butter, olive oil, and this grapeseed oil from TJ's. Of course, I mostly eat oil raw, just pour/put it in my mouth, or on food after I've cooked it. I cook mostly with butter.
*Like in a great deal of my life, I happened upon this book. I was clearing out a dresser in the carport of the house I was renting, because they said I could use the dresser, and I found it in there. I also found SIDDARTHA, which I'd heard about but hadn't looked for to read. Providence, particularly with CDC.
