Thank you for the tips!
I know pong was played with a paddle controller. My fight stick is my dedicated arcade stick, because it works so well with so many games (you know, like pacman and the rest). So I suck at communicating.
So I swapped out my fight stick for an XBOX one controller with analog thumbsticks, and you guys are right, it works a treat. I guess my stick is all digital then, and not in fact analog. Should have seen that coming .
Does anyone know where one can find paddle controls for the PC? I always prefer to play with peripherals that match as close as possible to the real game. I have been looking for a good track ball solution too and haven't found anything with both the ball and some hardware buttons (not about to build my own cabinet, the limit to my hobbie stop right about there)!
My original issue was solved though. I just have to use two regular controllers with analog thumbs for pong. Thanks again.
