Nothing is fun if you're just credit feeding and flailing about and if you get to the end of a game that way, you didn't beat it. With arcade games you generally either try to beat it in 1 credit or go for a high score and try to improve on your score. Most games drop your score if you continue, that is the punishment, points used to mean something back when the games were made. If you want to find some that are possible to beat in 1 credit you can search on youtube for 1CC.
