I have noticed playing pole position 2 that the analog settings for the dial (steering wheel) once set behave differently for the car in qualifying round to the proper race.
Its as if you have set different settings for each part of the game - the qualifying round control is always looser than the proper race when it is using the same setting, hence logicaly the steering should be the same for all the game.
