I'm guessing your system is just not powerful enough to run them full speed. I just played Ridge Racer 1 & 2 at 100% speed no problem.

Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
32GB DDR4 RAM
