A movie like this comes along once a decade. This decade is now spoken for.
I was expecting some action-packed story like Fast and Furious, but was pleasantly surprised that it had an actual story, with some actual creative cinematographics. For examplee, especially in the beginning, everything has a rhythm to it, the way they speak, the way the things they say rhyme, the sound effects, the movements on screen, everything is in tune with the background music, and it's pretty jazzy. Not a musical, mind you, but definitely a purposeful rhythm to everything that's taking place. You'll see. Tres bien.
I actually wished that the musicality of everything continued throughout the flick because I was diggin' it, man, but I get that as the events become unstable, so to does the rhythm of everything, so, it's a technique.
So too are his sunglasses. I don't want to spoil it, but pay attention to his optics. They themselves are telling part of the story. Again, you'll see what I mean once you realize it's there.
It's the little details like that which make this movie one step up from kick ass (not the movie Kick Ass, I mean really actually one step above kicking ass, literally in a figurative way).
I can see this becoming a classic, if not a cult hit, if not with everyone, at least with me.
