Something is going seriously wrong with the interface for me ever since 188... all areas except the folder list are not displaying or resizing correctly.
It appears fine in a window from a clean install, but as soon as I maximize, the picture area takes up half the screen and the games list is squashed almost out of view. Once I restart it, the game list is view-able but squashed with the picture area remaining half the width of my screen and cannot be reduced, only increased.
Edit: There seems to be something glitchy about the new "software area"... I seem to have fixed the width, but the software area doesn't want to disable properly, with its tabs displaying over the top of the picture area tabs even when unchecked.
Edit 2: If I re-enable then disable the software area, the glitched tabs vanish, but always return upon booting up MAME.
