Recommendations on a PC Temperature Monitor

Software, of course, but anything hardware related would be okay too (if there is such a thing).

After playing one of my more graphically (intense?) games, the case does feel very warm. And restarting and entering the bios, it seems like I caught that temperature reading at/around 65 or 68 Celsius. But it'd also drop temperature pretty quick (obviously, since I wasn't playing a game at that moment).

Anyway, I guess I'm a bit worried about if my recently built gaming PC is getting too hot. It might be normal, but I'd rather have a way to find out for sure.

I had thought of removing the CPU cooler and reapplying a smaller amount of thermal paste, since I could possibly have a bit too much on it. But, if that wouldn't be necessary, I'd rather not waste my time doing that.
