Having this option checked or not does not prevent PSP games from showing up in the main list.

to show PSP games in the main list you only need "console_computer\games\psp.txt", nothing else.
To play PSP games you need to have games folders selected in the "Console/Computer Games Folders" dialog and the file "console_computer\sysgamefolders.ini" must exist.
Selecting a RetroArch as your PSP emulator would not prevent PSP games from showing up in the main list.

well, if the "console_computer\games\psp.txt" file exists, the PSP system should appear in the systems list. Make sure the "Handheld Systems" is checked in the machine types list (top panel). If you uncheck it then none of the handheld systems will show up in the systems list (bottom panel). I implemented it this way so you don't have to go thru a long list of systems if one or more machine types are disabled.
