I feel like I can't vote Democrat anymore and I'd vote Republican a couple of times if it meant wiping out the Dems and forcing a new party to emerge. Franken grabbed butts for goofy pictures and tried to kiss a girl a couple of times and is resigning over that. That is fucking pathetic. Was it ideal gentleman behavior? No. Was it something millions of people did and don't deserve to have their life ruined over? Yes. By saying it's horrible behavior, oh where do I begin. For one thing it throws some bullshit horseplay into the same category as real hardcore destructive sexual harassment. For another thing it makes the Democrats even more look like a group of pussies when sat next to what real harassers are doing. It was lighthearted bullshit.
As far as the kissing goes, and this goes to the heart of the sexual harassment movement, where the lines are shittily drawn and and black and whiting of the whole thing - sexual harassment, the definition we were taught, is unwanted sexual advances. Does anyone else see the problem there? You don't always know for sure if the woman will be responsive to a kiss. You don't. You have to have the balls to just make a move sometimes.
People who say you always know probably got married early and don't know shit. Sure, most of the time "you can tell" but not all the time. Sometimes you might think she's playing hard to get, or not playing anything and you just don't know until you try to kiss her. Either way, women can now use this kiss as claiming they are scarred with PTSD and it's fucking bullshit. Oh I'm sooooo fucking sad for you, a man kissed you and oh no, someone grabbed your ass to make you smile funny in a photo, oh god you're going to need therapy. Fucking pathetic state of affairs and Franken is totally to blame for not making these points as he is career raped. All this is taboo for me to say - nobody is saying this but me but I know lots of guys believe this way because I've talked to them about it!
Lastly this rumor the right wingers are saying where Chuck and Nancy are getting rid of him so they can go after right wing senators after this bar is set... First off they aren't smart enough to think of that, secondly Democrats have been the pussy party my whole life so how is this resignation going to make a difference for president pussy grab and Alabama child molester on the other end? The Republicans are strong enough to tell people to fuckoff even with harder charges and the Dems are not strong enough to argue against stuff that isn't or shouldn't be a crime. That's what it all boils down to - the Dems are a bunch of goddamn pussies and that's one of the reasons they lose. Nice job "leading with your values", they are leading you right into retirement and embarrassment.
