First and second steps are complete.
1. EL generates a new "arcade\games\mame.elsoftlistreq" file containing soflist sections and game names with their "requirement" extra parameter (file generated when creating software list games).
2. Based on the file above, EL tries to parse the extra parameter for supported games (PCE CD, Atari 2600 Cassettes, Atari 800 floppy games, etc...)
The "PC Engine CD" game Gate of Thunder (name: gatethun) is now successfully loaded with the extra cartridge required by the game (see attached pic).
SEGA CD games that require extra params are still a mystery to me. They require 32x hardware. How to run them with command line ?!
The game I'm trying to run is "ntrap32"
And a particular MegaDrive/Genesis game called "psolar" can use a CD called "psgaesd" for improved audio tracks. But this game also requires 32X hardware. 3 devices must be connected using command line... that one I simply can't figure out how it works.
