Question About Trivia Game Buttons

I noticed that the files for Fax/Fax 2 are set up for "lit" buttons yet they are not utilized. I'm currently setting up control panels for a number of trivia games and I was wondering if there's a way to determine if the buttons for a particular game are backlit when pressed vs. not?
