LAME is an encoder, not a decoder MAD is probably the best quality decoder, but I'm not sure if that's a thing in this applicaiton. For M1 I use ancient old AMP, which was the original basis of Winamp. It's BSD-licensed and the sound quality is IMO "good enough" given the Model 3 streams are something like 32kbps mono.
