MAMEWorld Forums - EmuChat - Disable Screen Flipping

Is there a way to disable screen flipping in the mame.ini or another place, but still play a game in cocktail mode?

I assume that the games handle the screen flipping as part of the machine so it's not really a mame setting, so this probably seems like a silly question, but the reason I'm asking is I'd like to be able to use two sets of controls (Player 1 and Player 2) for a game like 1942 that only supports 1 set of controls as an upright, but allows for 2 sets of controls in cocktail mode. I realize that I can map both sets of controls to Player 1 and play that way, but just trying to avoid the players from affecting each other.
