Xin Mo Controller in Retropie Help
#353286 - 04/20/16 05:33 AM

I have a pi 3B and retropie 3.6 and recently hooked up a Xin Mo usb controller with 16 buttons. I have all kinds of issues trying to get both player 1 and 2 working. I changed the cmdline.txt finally and now it reads to sets of controls but upon mapping the second player in emulation station the first player's mapping completely changes. I don't know what to do. I have tried everything. I retyped retroarch and added in input_player1 and input_player2... nothing seems to work. A kernel update was released but that was meant for the pi2 and just locked up my pi forcing me to reformat. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks

Jim

Sorry, but Retropie is not MAME within the memory of anyone here; it's based on a version of MAME released in early 2001, back when people still had VHS players ;-) MAMEdev has moved quite a bit forward from there, to put it mildly. You should instead go to the official RetroPie website; they have support forums there.
