G920 steering wheel and pedals

I just got the g920 and set it up the way they said but now in automatic if you leave your foot off the pedal it speeds up and if you press the pedal it slows down , any ideas why ?

In Mame press Tab while in the game. Choose Analog controls. You have to reverse gas and maybe brake as well.

What do you mean by reverse them ? I dont want the gas where the brake is lol

When you reverse you change if 0 = depressed or not depressed. In your example it thinks the gas is pressed when it is not.

K i just found out you cant play crusin usa on g920 steering wheel and thats the only reason i bought it , does anyone know the best wherl that will work with crusin usa in mame?

Not sure where you found that information, but, even though I don't have that steering wheel, I think you may be incorrect. I have an older Logitech G25 that works perfectly fine for Cruis'n USA in MAME. You just need to follow the directions that Classic80sGMR gave as it will require controller customization.
"In Mame press Tab while in the game. Choose Analog controls."
You will need to go through each control setting and set appropriately (i.e. paddle analog map to steering wheel, pedal 1 analog map to proper pedal, etc.)
Once you complete that, you may need to calibrate the controls - you do that by pressing F2 during the title screen.

I just read it on the logitech site it shows all games the g920 supports i did go into analog controls and reversed the pedals so they go the right way now but still not getting any acceleration at all it just sits there and its all calibrated correctly and reconizes each pedal just no acceleration

Crusin USA in Mame definitely works. My machine is off line right now. Look into the Logitech option ‘combine gas and brake.’ Can’t remember if you want it checked or unchecked but I think it should be unchecked. Whatever it is now try the opposite.

Just reread your post, sorry You got the gas working, I had a similar situation with mouse steering, Make certain joystick is enabled in you mame.ini. I also drop my dead zone to .1 with the g920
