With sdlmame in Linux with a Xbox 360 controller(xboxdrv), I am having trouble programming joystick input for the dpad. For instance, on a typical game I will hit tab and I will go into input general-> player 1 controles -> and for DOWN I hit the a button to program. I then hit the down dpad and then I push the joystick left so it will have both for down. It will show:
Joy 1 Down Joy1 A7 Xbox Gamepad(Userpace driver) or Joy 1 Left Joy 1 A6 Xbox gamepad.
But in the game it makes the joystick and dpad both not work at all for down direction.
