Shinobi Beta Version

Hello Everyone,

I just bought a Wellon programmer and I'm trying to reparis some of my defect boards. This is my first post in this board, so my excuses if I'm not clear enough.

I just repaired a Shinobi (Beta Bootleg version) and I'm trying to replace the EPROMS (TMM24512P) for real EPROMS (27C512) and copy another game into it.

I have noticed that close to the graphic eproms there is a chip that looks as an EPROM but it's not! it's an Intel D8748H which is a 8-bit microcontroller with EPROM.

Anyone know what this is used for?? Can it be the substitute for the N7751?
I have checked the segas16a.c file and it seems that I could re program the board with other games that have the same number of eproms and of the same size, like for instance: "aceattaca" and "wb35"

Anyone has tried this before? Do you have some tips you could share?
My plan is very simple: replace the current (1-time-programable without window) eproms with normal windowed eproms.

Any help is appretiated.
