Ok, I built my MAME cabinet about 2 years ago and decided to get it back up and running and hopefully work out the bugs.
I'm running an Intel Celeron 3.0GHz, 2GB Ram, 400watt power supply, Windows XP Pro, Arcade VGA for my video card. Cabinet is a Tekken Tag cabinet with a 25" screen. 4 player Ipac board for the controls.
I can run the "computer" all day long without it freezing, but when I load an NES game or MAME game it tends to lockup at random times. I've ran memtest (24 hours) on my RAM and it tests good. I've tried different power supplies without any change. Lately after about 5 minutes of playing it seems to lock up. Sometimes it runs for hours and other times it locks up immediately. I'm running Mala 1.05 as my frontend, FCEUX 2.0.0 as my NES emulator and Mame32 0.120 as my MAME emulator.
It seems to lockup on the emulators after a short time, which led me to think hardware, but the PC itself can run all day long without issues.
Suggestions?
