Sync problems with arcade monitor
12/03/11 05:59 AM

Hi there I have a mame arcade with a Arcadevga video card and i am not exactly sure what type of monitor it is but i believe its a standard arcade monitor. Anyway I have all the Avga drivers installed, and ran trisync with standard arcade monitor choice. My problem is that the only resolution i can get to keep sync'd is 640x288 as soon as the resolution changes the screen goes out of sync and starts rolling. I can manually change the v-hold on the monitor but then as soon as the resolution changes again then i have to toy with the v-hold again. The monitor comes up in windows as default monitor at 59hz which is the only refresh rate option. Anyway any help would be grateful because at the moment i can only play games on mame if i force it to use 640x288.
