I am working on a mini-mame netbook project and did a bunch of bezel artwork conversion/creation specific to my needs. As it turns out I did about 140 different bezels and figured I'd offer them up if anyone wants to use them.
Courtesy of Mr. Do, I put them on the FTP site under a folder called Lamprey.
The bezels are designed for a netbook screen of 1024x600. Each bezel I created with rounded and square corners, except for a couple of “special” ones (Asteroids, Xevious, etc.). The default in the lay file is the rounded one.
I had my own personal goals with this stuff, so YMMV with what I created. However, feel free to use it if you like. Since netbooks are limited in their horsepower, I’m not sure how many other games are playable on it. But, if anyone has any other games they would like to see added; feel free to ping me and I can see about creating a bezel for that game.
I'm not going to lie; I was just doing this stuff for my own purposes so I used anything I could find. I don't mean any disrespect to the original creators of any of the artwork for not giving them props. I was just doing this for my own personal project I hadn’t intended to “release” any of this stuff. Moreover, I'm far from an artist so, I did what I could on some of the original artwork (so please go easy on me).
