Thanks for the info. I will mainly be handling the classics but hoped to put a rig together that would handle all the playable 3D games out to date. (I know some just aren't playable on today's tech at all even with overclocked i7s). I guess if the CPUs could perform on par (or close) with my overclocked i5-2500K/ I'd be plenty happy. If I have to scale back due to the video card it's not a huge deal but I was hoping to not be CPU limited. Guess I can just build it and try, only going to take time at this point. Really appreciate the feedback, it's been so long since I've been up to speed on what is and isn't utilized in MAME I didn't even know the GPUs were being used. Time to do a LOT of reading for me. Thanks again!
