You can use code to flip X and see how it would look, see the background only view on the attached file. And would take more than recompiling to look properly mirrored because I think the segments would need to be coded again for the clock.
About the mirrored Fire, this wiki entry kinda contradicts itself - "The port shown in Game & Watch Gallery 3 is reversed, which, according to the game, is due to an apparent mistake on the original Game & Watch systems. However, none of these reversed copies have yet been found by collectors."
I've added all of your backgrounds at last, DM you'll be pleased to hear. I've changed the code since then but it should be should be mostly like you expect, except for Fire as I have the building built-in to the unit artwork now and it obscures your building. I can make a basic black border if you want the building removed. I actually did it this way earlier and then wasn't sure which one you might want. And I removed the black on some of your backgrounds, hope you don't mind. It was overlapping with some of my parts and I wanted to keep a consistent look.
If the viewing options weren't a clusterfuck before, they are now.
I've been working all night updating the Elektronika games again. They have shadows now and other changes and updated code, along with the Gakken games..
