It's not like loading a SNES rom in an emulator where you only have one binary per game and a limited amount of assumptions about the game board can be made. There is far too much variation with arcade hardware, even among different revisions of the same game, that you cannot simply point MAME at the binaries of an undefined game and expect it to know what to do with them.
