from my earliest memories, I cared deeply about people. And then several years ago I realized I cared far more than they did. So I stopped caring. I still look out for them some, but I otherwise let them eat the shit they're so insistent on eating.

I used to "like people" and think they were inherently good, whatever that means. Then came social media and their comments. The truth is out.

Sometimes, I think I feel the same way. Like at work. There's just some people who you know won't get things, instructions won't stick, subtle, even blatant hints have no affect on them. So what are you to do? Just let them do their thing. Eventually they'll just go away.
I mention my work because that's the only real human interaction I partake in. No friends to hang out with, no familial interactions either.

Oh. For some reason I thought you was married and had kids. I take my parents dinner and hang out with 'em every Sunday.
