I found what Mogli said offensive.
Bathroom "wet" humor has that effect. It's not for everyone.

Reading the word of God can fill your heart and mind with a sense of empathy and charity towards others, as well as making oneself humble.
I'd rather read technical documentation and encyclopedias. I love to learn and apply knowledge. I'm a very inquisitive person and harbor no taboos. I'm willing to go places where some fear to tread.
How about this: When some mentions "sacred cows" I get hungry and think "mmmmmmmm....hamburgers". ;-)

Some would say that a Christian should be someone that cares for and helps the sick, dying, and less fortunate.
Some people mistakenly believe that I'm a Christian because I do help and listen to people. Maybe even help them solve a problem or two or assist in getting a job done. It's just within my nature that I'm a caregiver. I politely tell them that I appreciate the flattery but they're mistaken.
It's that moment when they open their eyes and realize that one doesn't need religion to be a honest and conscientious person. They actually meet an atheist in the flesh for the first time and are amazed! That's when they are humbled when an oft-repeated stereotype gets shattered before their very eyes. They realize that they were wrong.
How can someone live a life without religion? Quite easily: It's just one less thing to worry about. It sure beats living under the dictatorship of an imaginary deity that will strike one down if one doesn't abide by its thin-skinned egotistical sadistic jealousy. :-)
There's only one life: This one. Now. Live it and enjoy it to the best of your own abilities.
